DURACIÓN Y OBJETIVOS DEL CURSO

Duración en horas: 40

OBJETIVOS: Consta de 9 unidades donde consolidan definitivamente los tres niveles anteriores con repasos gramaticales (oraciones de relativo, verbos modales, voz pasiva…) y ejercicios. Ya que el alumno de este nivel presenta un buen dominio del Inglés, se insiste más en el uso de “Phrasal verbs” y se introducen más expresiones idiomáticas y coloquiales.

OBJETIVOS: En este nivel se asume que el alumno tiene los conocimientos suficientes para desenvolverse en Inglés sin dificultad. Es por ello, que todas las instrucciones y explicaciones ya no se ofrecen en español, sino en Inglés. Así, se consigue una total inmersión en el idioma desde el inicio de cada unidad. Ya se conocen todos los tiempos verbales, oraciones pasivas, condicionales, estilo indirecto etc… y se refuerza todo, añadiendo más vocabularios específicos y expresiones idiomáticas.

OBJETIVOS: Ingles para Camareros representa una opción pedagógica para aquellos profesionales de la hostelería que encuentran dificultad de comunicación con sus clientes en el uso del idioma ingles. No se pretende conseguir el dominio del idioma sino solo y exclusivamente tener los recursos idiomáticos suficientes para entenderse con los clientes de forma básica pero efectiva. El presente curso mediante un sistema multimedia intuitivo donde se pretende relacionar las frases más habituales que aparecen en la actividad profesional en cuestión con su fonética. Escuchar repetidamente esas frases y vocabulario específico es la clave para conseguir el objetivo propuesto: hablar y entender inglés en el propio puesto de trabajo. En inglés ninguna palabra se pronuncia igual que se escribe, es necesario aprender el sonido por un lado y por otro, como se escribe la palabra.
La idea que se propone en este curso no es que se aprendan los símbolos del alfabeto fonético, sino aplicar las técnicas de pronunciación figurada, en definitiva que usted mismo cree su propio diccionario figurado con palabras y frases relacionadas con su sector profesional. Pongamos un ejemplo; la palabra Gracias en inglés se escribe Thanks you, al escucharla, su pronunciación no tiene nada que ver con lo escrito, a nuestro oído sonaría como zenquiu.
Si queremos hacer el oído al inglés aunque sea en un curso sencillo como este, que se sale de las reglas idiomáticas por excelencia y que solo busca acostumbrar a nuestro oído a entender un número limitado de palabras y frases, tendremos que memorizar.
En definitiva, le proponemos que realice las prácticas propuestas y que escuche detenidamente las palabras y frases del curso con el propósito de que repita reiteradamente el sonidos de las mismas, así como que las escriba utilizando el recurso de la pronunciación figurada y así confeccionar su propio “diccionario figurado。
